Pc Security Online Backup

Online Back-Up Security and Encryption

It is abundantly clear that success in today's business world means taking data and information seriously. Information is, after all, the lifeblood of any modern business. This is what makes remote back-up data storage such a vital component in business today and what makes the security remote back-up data storage of paramount concern. Without a proper security apparatus, back-up data is as good as lost.

Luckily there have been a number of advances in the field of security as pertains to online data back-up. In the case of FileBackup.com, there are three levels of security protecting online data storage, each of which provides more by way of safety than any other system on the market today.

It is true that sensitive data needs intuitive, aware, comprehensive protection because the risks involved are significant. Data loss can take place a number of ways, but with FileBackup.com's inclusive, thorough security processing the risks are eliminated and the integrity of the data is of chief concern.

Tier One - 256-bit AES Encryption on User's Computer

The first tier of security involved is that of 256-bit AES encryption on the user's computer. AES stands for "Advanced Encryption Standard" and is the standard of encryption used by the United States government. There are three "key sizes" to AES, including 128, 192 and 256 bits.

AES is the first accessible and open encryption algorithm approved by the NSA. The AES encryption is very hard to crack with "brute force," making it an ideal first line of defence for data protection.

Tier Two - 128-bit SSL Encryption During Transfer

The transfer of key data can be disconcerting without the right security, which is why 128-bit SSL encryption during transfer matches up perfectly. This cryptographic protocol, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), provides the ultimate in reliability. SSL protocols are common in a variety of applications, including web browsing and VoIP telephony.

Originally developed by Netscape, SSL has gone through a number of paces and still remains the world's foremost encryption options during transfer. It has been implemented in a number of applications throughout its history and is a steady, sturdy component to the security apparatus of FileBackup.com's services.

Tier Three - 1024-bit AES Encryption on Files Stored on Cloud-configured Servers

With the popularity of cloud storage or "location independent computing," encryption on cloud-configured servers takes on special meaning. In the case of FileBackup.com, 1024-bit AES encryption is the order of the day. The use of AES encryption, approved by the NSA and used by the United States government, puts an extra layer of security on top of the other two tiers.

Many companies will be relying on the cloud to do a lot of their online storage in the near future, so the right security is vital. With AES 1024-bit encryption on the files stored in cloud-configured servers, businesses can rest easy knowing that their data is safe and sound.

As you can see FileBackup.com takes security very seriously. By utilizing three separate tiers of security, FileBackup.com provides a triple dose of assurance and integrity for all business data needs.

We are offering automated remote data backup solution for any individual professional or organizations which need their files to be securely stored. Our file backup service will offer you secure, safe & fast access to your files.

How much would I save to build my own

That's a lie. You can't build this for $500 unless you steal half the parts. I've looking at building a similar system myself. Parts price out on Newegg at around $1500, but I'm looking at a 2600K, Win7 Ultimate, a high wattage PSU, and Raptor HDDs. You could probably get that package you have posted for about $1000, but then you have to know how to build and install it. My main problem with Dell is that they will use the absolute cheapest version of everything listed. I had a customer with an upgraded graphics card that they charged $95 extra for. It wasn't worth $30 extra. Regardless, do not buy this system at this time. The CPU you have listed is one of the new Sandy Bridge CPUs. Only the P67 and H67 chipset motherboards support this CPU at this time and both have been recalled due to design flaws. Wait until March if you can. The corrected boards will be shipping in full at that time. If you buy this now, you'll be returning it in short order.

The DELL XPS 8300 costs £1273.98 with a monitor Which ones best?

Hi. The Dell desktop computer includes a 24" monitor whereas the HP does not - this would mean that you would have to fork out a few hundred quid for the monitor that is included in the Dell computer. Also, the Dell computer supports Wireless N. This will be important if you intend of using your desktop wirelessly; Wireless N is much faster and works on a much longer range than wireless a, b or g which is only what the HP computer supports. The Dell computer also has a better graphics card meaning that the graphics performance will be much higher! Also, the Dell desktop has a 7200 rpm hard drive whilst the HP has a 5000 rpm hard drive - meaning that the Dell can read data much faster than the HP. On the other hand, the HP computer has a Lightscibe disc drive. This basically allows you to create working/designs on the top side of a DVD/CD/Blu-Ray. Finally, the HP computer has a Blu-Ray reader/writer whereas the Dell computer only has a Blu-Ray reader. In conclusion, the Dell computer is much better on the technical side and will save you a lot of money (assuming they are around the same price). The HP computer is only better on the optical drive side of things which you could easily upgrade if you wanted to. I hope I was some help to you.

I would get the first one myself (in fact, I have that same processor) but you will absolutely have to replace the graphics card with something else. I'd suggest a GeForce GTS 8800 or better. An onboard graphics card is good for just about anything except playing games. The first machine is good but the graphics card needs replacing.

Whats the best way to backup everything on my PC? easily, securily, and regularly?

Whats the best way to backup everything on my PC? I looked at online backup solutions, but many of them aren't very encrypted, and I have some files where security is essential (I run a software development company from my home). My pc is a 3 TB Raid setup, so I need atleast 1-2 TB backup space. Currently I backup once a week on a 1 TB USB HD, and just copy everything onto the backup drive manually. Is there any systems that do this automatically? (like I just plug it in and it duplicates everything?) or simple software programs I can run to backup everything on my backup drives? Or offline storage solutions that are secure enough that I don't have to be paranoid where the datas going to go? Thanks! Thanks!
